Flying Spur V8 S
The new, more agile Flying Spur V8 S has luxury and performance at its heart. It brings an enhanced sporting edge to the already dynamically agile Flying Spur range. It is a car designed to turn heads as effortlessly as it turns corners.
We focused on three key areas when we created the sporting V8 S: the look, the engine and drivability. We concentrated on tuning the formidable 4.0 litre V8 S twin-turbocharged engine to produce an improved torque level of 680Nm for improved acceleration, even at low revs. It propels the car to a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h) effortlessly. We’ve also specially calibrated the suspension for faster responsiveness, as well improving the power to weight ratio. These enhancements combine with one of the world’s finest all-wheel drive systems to deliver excellent traction and control. Together, these features make V8 S a rewarding drive. You’ll notice how these details make all the difference from the moment you sit behind the wheel and start up the engine. And when you start to drive, it all becomes crystal clear.
Exterior
There’s no question the Flying Spur V8 S is a breathtaking presence on the road. S stands for Sport, and it not only lives up to the name with its thrilling performance – it also looks the part. The striking front end is further intensified by the exclusive Black Gloss radiator matrix grille and distinctive body-coloured bumper – meticulously fitted by hand at the Bentley factory in Crewe.
Engineering
This sportier, more agile new addition to the Flying Spur range mixes electrifying performance with world-class Bentley refinement. A car with the finest details engineered with one all-consuming idea: get the adrenaline flowing. The Flying Spur V8 S shares the same 4.0 litre V8 S twin-turbocharged engine as its V8 stable mate. We’ve focused on giving it higher levels of power [521 bhp/528 PS] and torque [680 Nm from 1,700 rpm] to give it a more sporting edge, along with a breathtaking top speed of 190 mph [306 km/h].
Interior
If the striking new silhouette of the Flying Spur V8 S is there to be appreciated as a whole, so the handcrafted interior rewards closer scrutiny. The new Flying Spur V8 S offers a more sport-focused interpretation of the consummate Flying Spur interior. Inside you will find the perfect balance of technology superbly showcased through matchless craftsmanship. Our expertise is subtly on show in every detail. Run your eye over the deep sheen of the wood veneer waist rails and dashboard and you will immediately want to run your fingers over them, too.

If a person writes a check without sufficient funds in an associated account to cover it, the check will bounce, or be returned for insufficient funds. Each state has laws regulating how merchants may respond to bounced checks. In Connecticut, the merchant may file a civil suit and press criminal charges if the check writer does not reimburse him for a bounced check after the merchant has sent several notices regarding the matter.
Posted Notice Requirement
Merchants and other business owners who accept checks must post a notice where customers are likely to see it warning them of the potential consequences of writing bad checks. The notice must include the civil penalties that bad check writers may face, the appropriate Connecticut statute number and an advisory that the check writer may also face criminal penalties
Civil and Criminal Penalties
As of 2010, civil courts may require the check writer to reimburse the merchant for the value of the check plus pay up to $750 if he has no back account or $400 if the check is returned for insufficient funds. If the merchant chooses to press criminal charges, the bad check writer may face a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. Writing a bad check is a felony charge if the check was for more than $1,000 and a misdemeanor if written for a lesser amount.
Required Written Notices
If a check bounces, the merchant must send the check writer a letter by certified mail at the check writer's last known address or place of business. Usually this letter is sent to the address on the writer's check. The letter must inform the writer that the check was returned ask him to reimburse the merchant for the amount of the check and inform him of the potential criminal or civil penalties if he fails to do so. If the check writers does not respond to the letter within 15 days of receipt, the merchant must send a second letter. This letter must inform the check writer that he has 30 days to reimburse the merchant before the merchant takes legal action against him. Both letters must be written in both English and Spanish.
